To be eligible to participate in he Canada SUmmer Jobs initiative individuals must:
* have been registered as full time students in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full time basis in the next academic year.
*high five training would be an asset

The Primary Choir received 2nd place with 85, the Elementary Choir received 2nd place with 86, the Senior Choir received 2nd place with 85, and the Senior Band received 1st place with 86. From October 17 - November 17 Smallwood Academy's Student council is participating in a national competition for recycling cell phones. Last year, schools in NL dominated the national competition with 52 schools recycling more than
3,300 cell phones, representing 90% of the national total. Our goal is to collect as many out-of-use cell phones as possible and be the school in our region to collect the MOST CELL PHONES (Calculated per student). If you have any cell phones lying around that you don't need or don't know what to do with please send them in to the school to help out with our total.
