Late/Unexcused Absence Policy

Students  must  be  attending  school  regularly  in  order  to participate  in  extra-curricular  activities.  Students  who  have acquired more than 8 unexcused absences may be removed from participating  in  school  activities  by  school  administration  until such a time that attendance improves. 

For the remainder of the year, we will permit 1 late per week for regularly scheduled classes from the date of the last dance(Thursday, April 11th- Friday June 7th.) in order for students to attend the "Goodbye to EVI" dance which is scheduled to be Wednesday, June 19th.  Unexcused absences will count toward lates as well.  This will be considered a combined 8 in total.  Please call the school if your child is absence for any reason.
