Student Entrances to School.

New signs have been erected indicating traffic is to proceed in one direction if using the parking lot.  Please note that the bus lane is to be used exclusively by busses during pick-up and drop-off of students.  Students may use the rear door of the school at the Greenwood avenue entrance for drop-off in the morning and dismissal at lunch and afterschool.  All doors will remain locked during lunch time in order to maintain a safe environment.  Students may use either the student entrance or administration entrance next to the office when re-entering the building during the 2nd. half of lunch.  Parents/Guardians and the general public must use the administration entrance next to the office and must check in at the office when admitted to the building

No students are to use the side entrances or fire exits for pick-up or drop-off as these entrances are not supervised!

These measures are in place in order to provide the safest possible environment for our students!

See diagram below.

We are no longer updating Homework Central.  Homework announcements will be delivered through e-mail by the teachers who teach a course. If you are not receiving updates, please contact Mr. Henstridge @

We will be presenting a new web page in the new year (Jan 2018) and we will notify you once it is ready.

We are asking students keep our environment clean. Please leave your garbage at the food establishment where you purchased your food or if you are returning to school after lunch and you still have garbage, bring your garbage to school and deposit it in the garbage cans that are provided.

 Lunchtime Ordering Information

  Arriving at school.

Doors to the school are unlocked at 8:45 AM and 12:45 PM.  Please refrain from dropping your child off at the school prior to this time as supervision does not begin until times indicated above. If you are coming to school to pick-up your child, please use the administration entrance by the office(opposite the gymnasium) and come in to sign them out.  This helps us keep track of your child's attendance and it ensures they are safe.

The preferred method to contact the school regarding your child's attendance is by telephone.  If you cannot get a response by telephone, please contact our secretary, Ms. Downey @

Once again tutoring afterschool is a go for this year!  Please have your child confirm with the teacher if the teacher will be available to offer tutoring services.  On Wednesdays we will provide a late bus for bus students if there is a need.  We will need at least 5 students in order to put on a late bus.

If you would like to know more about the tutoring services that are available for your child, please contact the school at 489-5608 and ask to speak with Ms. Taylor-Cutting, guidance counselor.
