Our winning ways continue here at the BBC in 2009-2010. The Boys Softball team pulled out a win this weekend in Lewisporte to capture the 4A Regional championship. After losing our first game to Gander, the boys came back to beat Lewisporte two games straight to win the title. We now go to Torbay for the provincials in the middle of October.
Congratulations to our Boys Softball team - Silver medalists at the Provincial tournament which was held in Torbay on Oct. 17-18.
Good news also comes from our girls softball team. The girls played Leo Burke Academy in a two game, total runs series. They lost the first game 11-8, but won the second game 11-7. This means the girls will also be moving on to the provincial tournament.
Congratulations to our ladies softball team who participated in their provincial tournament at Avondale on the weekend of Oct. 24th. The girls finished 4th out of 6 teams and won the most sportsminded team award. Great job girls!
