   About Botwood Collegiate

Welcome to Botwood Collegiate. If you are new to our school we extend a special welcome.  Botwood  Collegiate is operated by the Nova Central School District No. 3.  The recent restructuring plan implemented by the School Board in 2004 has re-designated Botwood Collegiate as a grades 7 – 12 school that serves the communities of Peterview, Northern Arm, Philip’s Head, Point of Bay and Botwood.

Botwood Collegiate is a modern school complex that is striving to improve the services and facilities available to the school community.   We have two computer labs, a closed circuit TV system for all learning areas, a gymnasium, a music room, two science labs,  a cafeteria, an industrial arts shop and a much improved library.

We offer a wide range of courses to meet our student's needs.  Not only to we offer the best core courses in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, we also offer Art, Music, and Industrial Arts programmes to accommodate the needs of everyone who attends B.C.  A highly-qualified staff facilitates the academic and personal growth and development of our students, hoping that they will strive to become the backbone of the future in our province.

Here at Botwood Collegiate, we have a very important expectation for you - we expect you to always have RESPECT FOR PEOPLE AND PROPERTY.

The General Office is located on the first floor of the building.  If you should have any problems or concerns throughout the school year please check with our secretary, Ms. Sandra Butt, and she will be pleased to help you.
